"The Green" by Julie Riker

6x8
plein air oil
I painted this last week at the West Shore Country Club. I was standing on the edge of the golf course right next to the NO TRESPASSING sign. I painted this very quickly before anyone even noticed I was there. Isn't that the whole idea of the "Guerilla Painter"?
I have entered this little panel in the Harrisburg Art Association's member show. The theme is "The Green Zone" and I felt that this fit.

Julie--what a great idea for that entry--my husband plays golf every day and I never thought of that as a possible entry for the member show.

I also enjoy this painting - golf courses are very peaceful and beautiful. Nice work.
