Kings Gap Vista - Acrylic Impressionistic Plein Air Landscape Painting by Pennsylvania Daily Painter Pat Koscienski

Kings Gap Vista
Acrylic
6" x 12"
This painting was done plein air for the Kings Gap Garden Festival 2009. This view was looking out from the patio in the back of the mansion that is located at the top of Kings Gap State Park in Pennsylvania. It is a 4 mile ride on a narrow, winding road to get to the top. But the vista and gardens make the ride worthwhile. One of my favorite places to paint. The view from the back porch of the mansion at Kings Gap is amazing, and you have caught the sense of it - it's vastness and beauty - perfectly.
