Day 65

Thanksgiving day was pretty cold, raw, and rainy here
in Pennsylvania (a perfect day to stay in, eat yummy food
and nap!)  The day after, the wind kicked up and blew the
clouds away, leaving behind a pale light that bathed the
woods.

I have been refining my palette to get cleaner, fresher
color, and working to push the feeling of light in my work.
I was happy with what happened with this little
plein air.  What do you think?

What a dedicated painter you are to be out in the raw weather while everyone else is either shopping or napping!
You did a great job with this. I like the clarity of color even in the greyed background. Your grayed orange in the distant trees is really nice. Another one for your "pathways" show.
