Morning Serenity -Original Oil Plein Air Landscape Oil Painting by Pennsylvania Daily Painter Pat Koscienski

Morning Serenity
9" x 12"
Oil on canvas

This scene was painted at the Conodoguinit Creek in a Community Park off Erford Road in Camp Hill, PA. It was a misty morning...I got 2 paintings that morning....this one being the earlier of the two done that day....the fog was heavier at this time, but did start to lift as I painted the 2nd. I love the color shifts in this, where the warm and cool colors lead your eye through the painting. This reads perfectly as an Autumn morning, and a quite lovely one at that!

Beautiful impressionistic painting. The colors are strong and atmophere feels hazy and still. It gives the viewer a real feeling of the place. Sharon Benner

The Creek in Community Park looks like an exotic place in a faraway land--so beautiful.

Beautiful use of complimentary color scheme. This has a lot of atmosphere.
