Morning Serenity -Original Oil Plein Air Landscape Oil Painting by Pennsylvania Daily Painter Pat Koscienski

Morning Serenity
9" x 12"
Oil on canvas

This scene was painted at the Conodoguinit Creek in a Community Park off Erford Road in Camp Hill, PA. It was a misty morning...I got 2 paintings that morning....this one being the earlier of the two done that day....the fog was heavier at this time, but did start to lift as I painted the 2nd. If you have any questions, contact Pat at If you want to see more of my paintings, both representational and abstract, please visit my website and blogspot at:

I love the color shifts in this, where the warm and cool colors lead your eye through the painting. This reads perfectly as an Autumn morning, and a quite lovely one at that!

Beautiful impressionistic painting. The colors are strong and atmophere feels hazy and still. It gives the viewer a real feeling of the place. Sharon Benner

The Creek in Community Park looks like an exotic place in a faraway land--so beautiful.

Beautiful use of complimentary color scheme. This has a lot of atmosphere.
