EARLY FALL COLORS by Sharon Benner

Painted at Pine Grove Furnace State Park in October. This oil painting was painted with a pallet knife very quickly to capture the back lighting and to keep the colors clean and fresh. Please visit www.hanoverareaarts.com/42 or SharonKBennerFineArt.blogspot.com

Sharon, this is gorgeous. You might want to add the title and your name to this post so everyone sees who created this little beauty!
(Glad you had success getting it up here!)

Way to go, Sharon. You captured sparkling light with the freshness of painting in plein air.

Well, here is an exammple of when an artist's rendering is even more beautiful and alive than the actual site, and Pine Grove was spectacular that October day.

Great to see you blogging Sharon! Sorry I didn't get a chance to talk to you on Friday night. Hope we can paint together soon. Love the colors in this painting!
