"The Govenors Fall Garden" By Debra Tritt Kreiger

"The Governors Fall Garden" 4"x6" Watercolor on 300lb paper

I couldn't resist painting this scene. The birch tree which had an unusual color, with its' bark shedding and the rich color of the berries and leaves. It was a cold day with not much sunshine but the colors in the garden were very warm!
You can view the original at Gallerie 13 in December. Don't forget first Friday, December 3rd from 6-9

I just commented on this on DPP but I am happy to see it here as well. It was a good painting day, and even though it was cold, it proved to all of us what a strong and dedicated group we have.
I like how you handled the birch bark in this painting.

I just saw this last night at the Gallerie 13 Miniatures show, and it's a lovely painting! Your colors were perfect for the day!
