PASTEL MORNING SKY By Cecelia Lyden

acrylic
11x14
The sunrises over the Atlantic in Florida have not been as brilliant as they were last winter.
Atlantic Sunrise by Cecelia Lyden Acrylic ~ 16 x 20 framed
I"m not sure if the temperature affects them[ it is much warmer this year], but there have been many foggy and hazy mornings and most of the sunrises have had a pastel tint to them . This morning the sky closest, to the horizon, was yellow and pinkish, folowed by some ominous dark clouds and then a beautiful blue where the clouds had dispersed. It was early and there were no boats in sight yet, just a couple of soaring birds. What a sight!
