Day 73

I took advantage of the beautiful weather today and did this
little painting of a dried hydrangea blossom that was still
on the bush.  I like to leave the blossoms on during the winter
to add a little interest to the garden.  The green of the pine tree
in the background really made the flowers stand out.

You captured the "crunchy" feel of the dried flower. Great to see that you are getting out so much!

Only as far as the picnic table in my back yard until the pinched nerve in hip goes away...then I will be able to come paint with my SVPAP compadres! I can't wait.

Oh no!! Sorry to hear that and hope you get better real soon! Still, I'm always amazed at the subject matter you find in your own back yard.

Thanks Julie. Another visit to doctor, and now I am taking prednisone, so I am keeping my fingers and toes crossed. I am so anxious to get out there and paint with the SVPAP artists - love what you all have gotten done so far!
