What a gorgeous day at Codorus State Park yesterday - and
thanks to Sharon Benner for making the arrangements
for the Susquehanna Valley Plein Air Painters to meet there
and paint. We met in the morning, stopped to have a picnic
lunch beside the beautiful lake, and then continued painting
at another site.  The whole day was a little slice of heaven...
We all want to go back to paint there again in the fall.

Besides seeing Canadian Geese swimming with their
fuzzy little goslings, bluebirds, purple martins, and a
magnificent Great Blue heron - we were visited by fellow
Daily Painters of Pennsylvania member Charlotte Yealey!

It was a heavenly day to hang out in the park, and a bonus that you got 2 nice paintings out of it!

Both paintings show a clear, crisp day and are beautiful. The photo of my back shows my best side (no wringles)
