PINK PETUNIAS By Cecelia Lyden www.cecelialyden.com

I was all packed and ready for Thursday's paintout at Codorus, but was feeling ill and wanted to stay close to home. I hated to completely waste the rare sunny day, so I dragged my paint "stuff" out to the patio and painted for a while. I finished it today--the nice thing about painting close to home is you do not have to close up shop before you are finished.

We missed you, Cecelia. The nice part was that we painted in areas that were very close to where we parked our cars - at the second place I had to deal with a small hill because I wanted to get down closer to the water.
I think it is wonderful that you still went out into the warm sunshine to paint. I love garden scenes, and those pink flowers are so pretty!

We missed you last Thurs. We hope to paint in Cordorus State Park in the Fall. Your patio floral is lovely.
