GETTYSBURG OVERLOOK by Sharon Benner

Last Thurs. Julie Riker and I checked out a place to paint and it didn't work out for us, so we decided to go to the battlefield and paint something that would challenge us. This was a challenge not only because it involved many depths but the weather started out sunny and we finished in the rain.

It is definately challenging to paint in the rain. Nice work, Sharon.

Even with the changing weather, you got such a wonderful range of colors in this, Sharon. I love the misty, atmospheric look to it!

Great color and atmospheric perspective Sharon! It was fun painting and hanging out with you that day. I will have to finish up my painting soon so I can post it as well.
