YELLOW BARN by Sharon Benner

Yellow Barn was painted on the first day of winter when the weather was warm. This farm is surrounded by my neighborhood of new homes but the owner keeps it country! I met the owner while painting and she said I could paint on the property anytime. There is a stream and another farm back off the road and I can't wait to explore it.

I love the soft butter yellow of this barn, Sharon. It was so nice to have those temperate days - wish I would have gotten out to paint. This is really lovely.

You are lucky to have such an interesting place to paint so close to home. This yellow barn is unique from all the red barns we see and it makes a great painting.

I think we need to bring more ideas for this purpose. Involvement of young people can be handy in this regard. I am happy to find a good post here. Thank you..
