A DISTANT BARN, 9x12, oil by Sharon Benner

Painted on the Gettysburg Battlefield during the Festival.  This is the George Spangler barn which is currently fenced off from the public awaiting renovations.  I stood at the end of the lane and started painting around 7 a.m.  See more at www.hanoverareaarts.com/42

"The early bird catches the worm", and you caught and captured a serene early morning view--peaceful, quiet--just like early mormings in the country are--very nice.
