Sherfy House by Julie Riker

This is another painting from Gettysburg of the Sherfy House.  The Sherfys were the owners of the Peach Orchard which was the site of a bloody battle.
The house has been restored and is maintained in pristine condition...so pristine that it looks a bit surreal, like a dollhouse plopped in the middle of the battlefield.

I enjoyed seeing this painting at the Railroad Station, Julie. You really did this beautiful home justice. I love the colors!
