Yesterday I painted up at Kings Gap State Park with
my good friend and fellow artist, Mary Beth Brath.
She had suggested we go there to paint in the
garden, and the moment I started driving up that
long curvy drive to the top of the mountain, I
knew this is just what I needed!   The garden is
gorgeous, and complete with a small pond with
water lilies and frogs.

The zinnias called to me, and when I walked
away from them to look at some of the other
parts of the garden, they just called louder - so
that's what I painted!

Claire,
I love the colors and the blue sky peaking through the trees. It's so inviting like a "Secret Garden".

Very beautiful.......very calming...pretty and confident. Your paintings have a completed feeling without becoming overly busy..... I could learn something from everyone here at S>V>P>A>P>!!! :-)
