FLORIDA PALMS By Cecelia Lyden

All are acrylic on boards
Of course there are multiple varieties of palms here in Florida. The trees in the center are Cabbage Palms and are the state palm. The rust colored-foliage in between them is a sea grape plant. I recently learned that natives, years ago, would strip the bark to find edible cabbage. This process killed the tree and is not allowed anymore.

So nice to see your post from Florida! The palm trees look great and love the road leading you back.
