"February Brook", 8" x 10", oil on panel painted en plein air
Julie and I ventured out this cold Saturday for a plein air painting adventure. We went in search of a babbling brook, with snow and ice. Julie picked out a great spot!  It was great to stand side by side and watch eachother work on the same subject matter. We kept pretty warm except for our feet. We stood on an open wooden slat bridge as the creek ran beneath us. The cold coming from the water was really hard on the toes!!!!
