BANK BARN, 9x12, oil, by Sharon Benner

I haven't posted in a while, today was my first plein air paintout this year.  The sun was bright and the air was crisp and I had a wonderful time with some new friends from Gettysburg.

FARM GAS, 9x12, oil, this was my second painting from today.  The landscape is very dull right now, except for the grass, so I looked for something to paint with a little color and the gray steel and rusty red worked well.

Great paintings Sharon. Sorry I missed you, caught Jim on his way out and he said you were there earlier. We must have the same "likes" by the choice of our subjects.

Nice to meet you Sharon, we sure had a lovely day on Sunday. It was a beautiful spot, so many great vantage points to paint that lovely red barn.
