Moore's Farm by Julie Riker

Just thought I would share the painting I did at the farm Cecelia and I visited.  I chose to walk down to the pond, looking back at the barn.  I edited out the fence and made a little more of the wildflowers in the field.  I don't know if  I will do anything with this painting, but it gives you a sense of the landscape there - in case our group decides to paint there in the future.

Hi! My name is Alexandra Moody, I'm Susan Moody's daughter and you did a great job painting our farm! I'm currently away at school and seeing your painting really made me homesick. Beautifully done!!!

Hi Alexandra! Thanks for the nice comment! What a unique and amazing childhood you must have had growing up on a lovely farm in an old house full of stories of the past.

Well, did they tell you about our ghost

No - no ghost stories were shared, but I can imagine there are many!
