MOODYS' GROVE By Cecelia Lyden

oil/stretched canvas
It was a cloudy, windy day and unusally cold, but the aroma of Susan Moody's oatmeal cookies wafted through the air as Tish and I shivered and painted, spurring us on. Unfortunately, Tish, a new member, was the only one, besides myself, who was able to take advantage of the beautiful Moody farm and hospitality. The delicious cookies, baked for "all" of us, were a generous and gracious gesture, as was Susan's invitation to come again.
