First day painting out this fall-lovely setting at the Moody farm, but very chilly and windy. I may be getting too old for painting in the cool weather-hoping for a couple of warm days before only studio painting in the winter.

The first chilly day is always the worst since I am rarely prepared for it and underestimate how much colder it is when sitting stationary for hours. Kudos to you for sticking it out and capturing some fall color!

You're right about the sitting for hours part. After 3 hours, I started my teeth -chattering shivers, and knew I woulldn't stop till I warmed up. Packed up, ate a yummy banana muffin that Susan Moody baked for us and went home.
