A VIEW DOWN RIVER By Cecelia Lyden

Oil on Canvas
11x14
Wednesday of this past week was a pleasant, sunny day. Five of us spent the morning painting along the Susquehanna River. This view is looking down river toward the Harvey Taylor Bridge..The sky was cloudless and pale in color. The trees and their reflections in the water were the "main attraction".

A Sampling of Winter Landscapes

Last thoughts on winter...A call for any interested SVPAP members went out last summer to exhibit winter landscapes at the Historic Harrisburg Association (HHA). Several members participated. This is just a sampling of paintings from the show. All of the work was terrific. The exhibit was well received during the Candlelight Tour and throughout the winter months. Thank you to HHA.
